Windows tiling in macOS

Tiling windows in macOS is terrible!

Is that really the case? The short of it is:

No it is not.

It is true that this was the case in the past. Hence the success of such tools like Rectangle, Amethyst, Tiles and more. Well the past is the past.

Bare with me…

I am in Tech – in Systems/DevOps Engineering at that. We are the type to go overboard optimizing our workflow. One of those being windows management.

If you put 20 of us in a room, you would get about 30 preferred ways of managing windows. However…

There is something to be said about not spending 40% of productive time with optimizing the same.

In that spirit I am of the opinion that the options we (and everybody else for that matter) now get since macOS Sequoia – if I am not mistaken – are enough.

Are you sure?

Enough said!

But I want my own keyboard shortcuts!

… I know. Let me help you out.

System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts…

Conclusion

Granted this post might be a little rage baity. But I think there is a little truth to it, no?
